SHORT SUMMARY (for quick lift)

Geelong Lyric Theatre Society’s Mamma Mia! is already the fastest-selling show in the company’s 50+ year history, with opening night sold out and the rest of the season close behind. Directed by James Lee (35+ years in professional theatre – Les Misérables, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon), with musical direction by Brad Treloar (over 60 musicals to his credit), and choreography by Damian Caruso (Musical Theatre Guild of Victoria’s 2024 Open Choreography Award winner) and Conique Pirrottina (Brent Street alum), the production stars Ruth McGurk (Donna) and Katie Loxston (Sophie) in a dazzling celebration of ABBA’s greatest hits, exhilarating dance, and the ultimate feel-good theatre experience.
