Mienna is thrilled to be part of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast both on stage and behind the scenes, making her debut as Co-Choreographer for a production of this scale while also performing as Babette U/S and a Les Filles de la Ville. Bringing creativity, drive and a high-energy approach to every aspect of the production, Mienna combines a strong technical dance background with a bold, character-driven performance style.
Training & Background
Beginning her dance training at just 3 years old, Mienna has had the opportunity to be taught and mentored by some of the best teachers Geelong has to offer! Beginning ballet training at Barclay School of Ballet (2015-2018) alongside her already developed Jazz and Contemporary, she then furthered her training at Expressions Ballet Academy (2019-2023) where she participated in solo and troupe competitions in the state and out! Scimm platforms youth company (2021) was a big step in Mienna’s contemporary dance training, where she learnt so much that furthered all her styles. Transit Elevate program (2022-2023) was where she found her home, eventually developing into full time training in Musical theatre (2024-2025) where she has found her love and passion and stuck with it.
Works
A recent graduate of full-time training at Transit Dance, Mienna has continued developing her choreographic voice across a range of styles, including VCE VET dance solos from 2023 to present. She previously co-choreographed Mary Poppins Jr (Geelong Lutheran College, 2025) and continues to build her experience through teaching and choreography at Stage Arts.
Most recently seen in Mamma Mia! (GLTS, 2025), Mienna’s performance credits also include Paulette in Legally Blonde (Transit Dance, 2025), Mrs Wormwood in Matilda Jr (Geelong Lutheran College, 2023), and Sharpay Evans in High School Musical Jr (Geelong Lutheran College, 2021). She has also performed as a dancer and vocalist in A New World (Transit Dance, 2024), as well as at large-scale events including the Challenge Cancer Ball and the Myer Precious Metal Ball at Crown Palladium (2024)
Mienna is a qualified mat pilates instructor (hence all the pre rehearsal workouts)
Choreographs all of her works in the kitchen, with help from her sometimes unwilling sister, Saige
